& && &&&这部集合了不少香港大腕的大制作影片，片中的明星阵容令人瞠目结舌，几乎网罗了当时香港大多数的一线巨星。但除了金庸原著《射雕英雄传》里的一些人物名字不变外，故事情节已被“大手术”了，并以逗笑取胜。其实《东成西就》的诞生完全是一个偶然，王家卫在1993年筹拍《东邪西毒》的时候，投资商怕像《阿飞正传》一样收不回成本，就让王家卫以同样的班底拍一个卖座的搞笑版。于是，有了《东成西就》。只是，在《东成西就》里，王家卫不是导演，而只是监制，导演则成了刘镇伟。要把《东成西就》归到新武侠电影，即使是作为另类，也有点勉强，甚至有点私心。《东成西就》中坦坦白白的花拳绣腿和近于自揭其短的特技运用，是对整个新武侠电影的策反。影片中，林青霞的“无相神功”真的是无相，张国荣和梁家辉一段弹指神功大战一阳指分明是一场枪战，再清楚不过地告诉你新武侠电影是怎么拍成的。至于“情意绵绵刀”、“眉来眼去剑”、“干柴烈火掌”之类的搞笑，不仅是对整个新武侠电影嘲弄，而且把矛头直接指向始作俑者金大侠。老顽童练了皮鞋剑法还和师兄不干不净，娘娘腔的南帝最后升天成了济公，九阴真经原来刻在马桶上，大量诸如此类的调侃让人在狂笑之余也难以消受。
