[摘要]识文断字，在古代意味着较高的社会地位和被他人尊重。那么，你知道在古代如何称赞一个人读书多，学问大吗？识文断字，在古代意味着较高的社会地位和被他人尊重。那么，你知道在古代如何称赞一个人读书多，学问大吗？学富五车形容书多或学识丰富的典故。语出《庄子·杂篇·天下第三十三》：“惠施多方(方术)，其书五车，其道舛驳(他的学说多差错而杂乱)，其言也不中(正当)。”后人便以“五车”“五车书”“书五车”“五车竹简”“惠施车”等来表示书多；用“学五车”“学富五车”等来表示读书多或学问大。三十乘书形容藏书丰富或学识渊博的典故。语出《晋书·张华传》：“(张华)雅爱书籍，身死之日，家无余财，惟有文史溢于机箧。尝徙居，载书三十乘。秘书监挚虞撰定官书，皆资华之本以取正焉。”受此典影响，后人论书之丰富，也每以“三十”为数，不一定必是“乘”或“车”。如果形容书少，则用“无乘书”。梦笔生花比喻文人文思大进，文笔优美俊逸。典出五代王仁裕《开元天宝遗事·梦笔头生花》：“李太白少时，梦所用之笔头上生花，后天才赡逸，名闻天下。”因此，后人多以“梦花”“梦生花”“彩笔生花”“笔花入梦”“花从笔生”等比喻文思大进。文不加点形容写文章一气呵成，不加任何修改。语出张衡《文士传》(唐徐坚等编《初学记》引)：“吴郡张纯少有令名，尝谒镇南将军朱据，据令赋一物然后坐，纯应声便坐，文不加点。”此典的主要形式有：“文不加点”“不加点”“万言不加点”“不加点窜”等。著述等身形容读书或著述很多的典故。典出《宋史·贾黄中传》：“黄中幼聪悟，方五岁，玭(中幼父名玭)每旦令正立，展书卷比之，谓之‘等身书’，课其诵读。”后人遂用“等身书”形容读书很多，只是后来是说将书册摞起来有身子高，与典源中所指有所不同。也可以用来形容著述极富，多作“著述等身”“等身著作”。一字千金形容诗文作品精心创作、极有价值的典故。事出《史记·吕不韦列传》：“吕不韦使其客人人著所闻，集论以为八《览》、六《论》、十二《纪》，二十余万言。以为备天地万物古今之事，号曰《吕氏春秋》，布咸阳市门，悬千金其上，延诸侯游士宾客有能增损一字者千予千金。”此典的主要形式有：“一字千金”“千金字”“金悬秦市”“悬金”等。
